Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Grace earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico, followed by a Master’s in Design Management from Pratt Institute. After graduating, she joined a design firm where she gained valuable experience on a range of projects, including residential, commercial, educational, and government work. Her focus on historic preservation and conservation, particularly in the wake of a hurricane, deepened her expertise in creating resilient spaces.
Driven by a passion for education, Grace returned to her alma mater as a Part-Time Lecturer and Instructor, nurturing the next generation of architects. She later moved to Illinois, where she contributed to a diverse portfolio of commercial and healthcare projects. Through her collaborative experiences, Grace has developed a keen ability to deliver strategic design solutions.
She believes that designers have the unique power to shape the experiences people have within their spaces, influencing how lives are lived. Grace is excited to embrace new challenges and collaborate with the Atlantic-AE team and its clients to create impactful, successful projects.
