On Wednesday, June 5 – Saturday, June 8, 2024, our team of Atlantic AE architects attended the 2024 AIA Conference on Architecture & Design. It was the perfect opportunity to grow professionally, learn about upcoming insights in the industry, and connect with other experts we partner with on our projects. The conference was held in Washington, DC and was full of information AND fun!
Some standouts from the conference include the following:
- Keynote speaker Arthur C. Brooks discussing how to build the life you want and striving for happiness.
- Breakout sessions focusing on:
- How recent technologies are revolutionizing the architecture industry, including Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning.
- How design and construct buildings with Low-Carbon materials.
- How to conquer opportunity in a new Architecture firm and build partnerships that sustain.
- Develop contracts and proposals that align with project complexities and client goals.
- Walking tours of the monuments and the rich history of the country!
As a final celebration, we headed to Nationals Park and watched the Washington Nationals win against the Atlanta Braves. We work hard and play hard here at Atlantic AE!
