Workspace Collective Ribbon Cutting

Atlantic AE was proud to be the architect and design partner of this phenomenal project. Located in Daytona Beach, Florida, this building was transformed from a multi-tenant business into a collaborative co-working space housing some of the best local businesses in the area. The project mission was simple: deliver a space that fosters the entrepreneurial spirit and supports small business growth in the local area. To achieve the project goals, a multi-faceted approach was taken locating private office space on the second floor while fostering community gathering on the first floor. Partnered with a phenomenal general contracting team, this project was a major success and highlights all the benefits of a collaborative approach.

More about the ribbon cutting:

Workspace Collective Daytona celebrated its grand opening on February 20, 2024 – complete with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and hosting the Daytona Beach Chamber of Commerce’s Business After Hours event. The turnout was phenomenal with the presence of elected officials, cherished friends and family, enthusiastic local community members, and even members from their Ocala locations.

Located just 10 minutes away from Daytona Beach and in the up-and-coming Riverfront District, this marks Workspace Collectives’ third location. The building holds a rich local history, being the former home to the rock station, The WHOG 95.7 FM. They thoughtfully preserved the station’s legacy by retaining the WHOG logo in the podcast room as a nod to the site’s vibrant past.

An integral part of the Workspace Collective team is its commitment to highlighting local art. Visitors and members can immerse themselves in a collection of art pieces for sale, curated by talented local artists. The entrance and front desk area features a stunning mural crafted by local artist E.J. Nieves, adding a touch of creativity and vibrancy to the space.

We were honored to be included in the celebration and know the space will be well-loved.
